This is the go too! Coffee Spot in Lodi. I have been coming here for years. I only became aware that they roast their own beans right at the location, and have a wonderful roasting room you can sit in with free wifi...I never knew! The coffee is roasted fresh, which they say is what makes it taste so good!

We love Java Stop, what a great treasure it is. We went inside the restaurant and the manger gave us tour and talked to us about how they roast coffee, and how they use Ghirardelli Chocolate in any of their drinks. We enjoyed the coffee we bought a bag of beans to take home!
08/20/2015 - Daily Customer
I am a daily customer, but since the change in ownership, the consistency has gotten really bad. So far this week (today is Thursday) I have received 3 out of 4 drinks that are undrinkable. Price per cup cost way too much for it to be this bad. Mocha mix is sometimes bitter, sometimes too sweet, sometimes seems like it's not mixed well or too much sediment (bottom of the unshaken milk jug ?) and recently there is NO flavor of fresh espresso At All - it actually tastes like they are using old espresso from a previous day - terrible. Also servers need to be advised that mocha mix milk has a reduced expiration date once chocolate is added - many times if tastes like it is on the verge on going bad - gross. Also, please do not assign the newest personnel to make such an important part of your product. If consistency and quality do not improve, I may have to go back to Starbucks - which is not as good as a good drink from Java stop, but at least they are consistent and I don't feel like I just threw $4 out of my car window.
