Top Reviews of Cafe 119

This is a wonderful cafe with delicious food and great service. All of the negative reviews are written in a similar fashion, and I’m guessing they are all from the man who owns the building next door. I have had two run-ins with him where he threatened to have my car towed if I went to the cafe. I guess the parking lot belongs to his building. I have to wonder what kind of person would spend their time harassing people when there is always plenty of parking and then take the time to fabricate negative, reviews for a great restaurant.

Lots of choices on the menu, the food was delicious and the atmosphere is beautiful

I just heard a customer got towed while having dinner at 119. Bad enough the food is overpriced and resembles a cheap take out joint but to come outside and your car has been towed wow what is that called vehicle in a box.

I know this might seem petty but I’ve stoped by 3 times and the place was closed. The last time I was there I tried the ravioli dish and they were the size of a quarter. In fact, Raviolios in a can are bigger than cafe 119. It’s sad to see a place die. I’m guessing it might be new owners because the sign says 11P not 119. There are also some flags tied to the front door like a used car lot so I’m guessing new owners. I saw a giant fork and what might be a spoon or a knife nailed to the wall but it almost looked like they might have gone out of business which would explain why they are always closed. When I checked the internet I saw pictures of their dinner boxes they looked like Army Mash unit food everything has a gravy on it or what ever that might be. I made my way to Kirbys very good food and they were open!

My cats litter box tastes better than Cafe 119
The lumps in the litter taste better then their riggies in fact they should call their riggies thiggues
Seriously the place is a dump
And what's up with the gravy? They put it on everything! It's like there trying to hide the expired taste of the food or something

Wow my husband and I drove all the way in from Tully to have dinner only to find the cafe 119 closed. Our bad for not checking the web for hours. But really what restaurant closes for dinner?

Well I recently came through Manilus And thought Id stop and eat since I hadn’t been to Cafe 119 since they re-opened. I was dismayed at the portion size at least what I order it was about half of what use to be. The seating hadn’t changed and it was cramped like before which surprised me. I thought they would have expanded the room a bit. The male server didn’t say a word to me in fact he just came to my table and said what would you like to order kind of rude actually. I’m a habit kind of guy and not only was the food portion about half of what I remember but the quality was just not the same. When the waiter brought my food he just plunked it down and walked away. Sadly I won’t be returning. It seems as though the place may have changed hands because the signs are all there. The Iron Wood up the street has great food, beer and warm folks.

A little hidden gem Cafe’ 119 has 12 tables for sitting. The overall renovations are “spot on” with hardwood floors, ceiling beams, brick wall accents, wrought iron chandeliers & a gas fireplace!
And add to that a reasonably priced lunch & dinner menu with all choices fresh scrumptious and very generous servings. Thank you kind owners for further enhancing Manlius, NY.

The staff was pissy and rude. The female was curt and the guy waiter made it known he didn’t want to be there.
The food was terrible and tasted like it had been stored for days. The Servings were small and like Burger King. They had the guts to charge 6.00 for a glass of wine that tasted like Hard cider. When I leaned back in the chair I almost fell through the window. The desert was good but kinda like Friendly's. The coffee was burnt and tasted like Dunkins. The decor was weird fishing stuff and other motif that resembled a confused idea. In all a place I will never eat at again and highly recommend Burger King instead.
