My husband & I were given a gift certificate for Ryuu and decided to use it tonight, 7/5/11. We were sat right away with 4 other people and were immediately waited upon. The service was good, although as a middle aged woman, I am still having a hard time getting used to servers with tattoos all over their arms. It seems like higher class places should require long sleeves, but I guess that personal preference. The chef did an amazing job and the food was super, especially the tuna and vegetables. No room for dessert, but they sure looked appetizing. We will return.

Went to Ryuu @ Westfield Mall in Brandon Fl last week.
Let me say that it kicks an other restaurant in its flavor.
Our waitress was on top of things not letting our drinks run out and had a delightful personality.
The food was superb with lots to take home.
Going back tomorrow.

went there tonight with high expectations, spent 2.5 hours there due to my server "Christy" being less than competent and my food being overcooked. I thought it was just me except at the end of the meal the other 10 people at the time all had some issues with their meals as well - I was only there with 1 other person the rest we complete strangers, besides slow server, mixed up drinks, messed up food orders, overcooked food, and a manager " Carlos" who just stood there asking " can I do anything" then failed to discount or comp ANY meal at the table.... I will NEVER return.
Only positive thing ... my sushi ( that FINALLY came correct was good) the rest of this place - Mr. Robert Smith I hope your other locations are better than this.
