Absolutetly terrible service, After two hrs of waiting, When I asked, they said that the mistress forgot upload the order in the system.

As a local of 40+ years I cannot continue to express the utter disappointment I have for this establishment and it is disgusting to even feel like it is my color that made me feel less than trying to dine with my family here I have always look forward to taking my kids here after a long hard week of work to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Today was unacceptable! I realize my party was big so we sat by the pool and order 8 chicken tender baskets she did tell me that it would be 1&1/2 wait which I understood they were busy not to mention I was generous with the tip even knowing there was await I still had to walk up 40min later to get our drinks and I was ok with even though she said she would bring it to us. So I went up got it drink she said I food would be another 30min no problem. Finally after 2 hours of waiting I went up and she says to me they put ur order on the bottom and we ran out of chicken gave me back the tip and ask me for my card to refund me ok got my card when I get back I’m waiting and being ignored I asked I’m try to get my refund I was told to come back with my card and the girls tells me “the mangers in the bathroom I have to wait” and also says “I’m just a hostess!”. Of course I’m upset and I say dont care who u are I waiting for my refund then another girl comes charging at me like she goin g to throw her drink on me and say “I disrespecting her and she doesn’t have to take that” Well if someone tells you with a nasty altered voice and wave hands one is to feel a little guarded & defense so my response was “I do care who you are I want my refund” then the manager appears off the toilet I’m assuming and says “ I have to wait another 30 min for my food I said no I though you guys ran out of chicken so maybe then went on run to slaughter chicken or Publix down the road I don’t know. Needless to say I felt attacked by the manger as well not even coming to me as a regular customer to explain anything at all. I am will never subject myself to the hate and unprofessionalism this establishment has to offer. Little Harbor across the way is we’re I took my family and will continue to take my family after the care I received and of course sharing my experiences the manager apologized on there behalf not even being affiliated with them the manger even continued to check on my family to make sure we were ok.

Went there first time while camping at little manatee state park. Went on a Monday and it was my 68th birthday. Went around 4. Not busy at all. Food and drinks were great and our waitress was amazing.

Food was very good. Today's cook did a good job. Now on the other hand the server Deirdra H was less then pleasant. You almost had to stand up in front of her to slow her pace on the way back inside, to ask for something. I was not even crowded. One table of six that she was extremely rude to. They moved a table with an umbrella next to theirs, for additional shade. She dot nasty to them and starting to raise her voice at them, telling them that they can't do that. One of the men finally was so annoyed at her, that he just told her to cancel their order and bring the check for the drinks they had. She needs to be replaced with a customer friendly server like CHARLA that is usually there.

Eaten here several times, never had a bad meal. Always bring my family here when in town.
Staff is always pleasant.

We have eaten at this place numerous times. Excellent coconut shrimp. Fish and chips also excellent.

We have eaten at Hooks about six times: the food has been very good, fresh, and fair priced.
