06/20/2010 - Rene' Thompson
My dad always judged a restaurant by the first thing served: the bread. Well, you want to skip dinner and just eat it with the real SOFTENED butter that comes with it. The Caesar salad and pasta dishes are incredible. Service is impeccable. They can be walking by and serving the next table and notice your water is low and another table needs another fork. You feel like royalty in there. The restaurant is family owned: Manny Tzivelis has his sons there along with aunts and uncles of the kids. THe atmosphere is small and relaxing and romantic if you wish a special place. Yes, they serve take-out pizza on the side of the bldg but don't be fooled. THis is a lovely dining experience inside by a genuine family. A plus is their manager of the dining room, Danny. (If I can get in his section and now I know where it is, I go there. He makes you laugh; he makes you special. And this place truly is.
