My husband and I finally understood why this place is always busy after having lunch there; the fresh bread aroma hits you as soon as you walk in, and the sandwiches like the tuna salad on toasted pumpernickel and the Monte Cristo are consistently delicious and generously portioned. We also ordered a Hawaiian Princess cake for my mom's 90th birthday, and the personalized decoration with coconut flakes made it a memorable hit among our family, especially since my mom, a picky eater, declared it the best cake she's ever had. The staff is friendly and efficient, the ambiance is inviting with plenty of seating, and the wide variety of fresh sandwiches, soups, and desserts keeps me coming back every time I'm in Tampa.
