The atmosphere instantly transported me to a cozy cafí© in Germany, complete with a warm, inviting interior and a thoughtfully curated selection of German beers and liquors. Every dish we tried-from the hearty sausage platter and crispy potato pancakes to the tender jagerschnitzel and rich German pot roast-was bursting with authentic flavors and generous portions that left us thoroughly satisfied.

My wife and I always make this restaurant one of our first visits each year when visiting Gatlinburg. Everything on the menu is superb! Sauerbraten (served on weekends only) is absolutely the best! I had the goulash on 10/26/2020 - YUM! My wife always enjoys the schnitzel; this year, she had the parmesan schnitzel and raved about it! The desserts - apfelstrudel and German Chocolate Cake - are very good, too! You can tell it is all homemade.
The only downside that I can think of is this: I wish they had authentic German beer (bier) on tap. Otherwise, everything - even the atmosphere of the restaurant - is excellent!
