The owner was very friendly and took the time to chat with us even though we were the only customers, and the food was fresh and flavorful, especially the caramelized carrots and the tender filet. While the interior could use some updating and the menu was sometimes limited, the service was efficient, the prices were reasonable, and the overall experience was enjoyable.

The owner of the restaurant was very friendly and took the time to chat with us, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The caramelized carrots were exceptional and a must-try dish at this Japanese steakhouse in Newport, TN, with a cozy and casual environment.
