My friend and I went to this place (Brooklyn Pizzarea) . We ordered pizza at the counter and was informed it would be served to our table. We waited at least 45 minutes , no pizza So we went to the counter and ask why we had not received our pizza, only to be told they had forgotten to give us our food. Our pizza had being sitting on top the oven Worst pizza we have ever eaten Crust was under baked, little to no sauce. We will be spreading the news to others.

After a busy day, my wife and I decided to eat out. Walked in and looked at the menu, which was on the counter and it was in three pieces and two of the pages was stapled together. Red flag! No other menus to be found so we decided to get a booth and look at the menu. First three booths we came to were filthy. The fourth looked clean but my wife was afraid to sit down. We sat anyway. I noticed that there was only one other customer in the place and he was drinking beer. But yet they had no time to clean the tables. Red Flag! No where on the menu did it show Ham as a topping for a pizza. When I inquired I was told that they did have Ham. Red Flag!
When the waitress brought our pizza to the table she just plopped it down and walked off like she was in a hurry. There was only one other customer in the place along with dirty tables. My wife wanted a knife (plastic) to cut her pizza so I went to get one for her. None were to be found. Plenty of plastic forks but no knives. An employee looked and looked and then found the box of knives and refilled the knife holder. Dirty tables, no knives, two paying customers in the place...What are these employees doing in their down time? Red Flag!
While eating our pizza (Supreme) my wife and I looked at each other and agreed that this is the worse pizza either of us has ever eaten. The only thing we could taste was the basil in the sauce. Red Flag!
This was my first time to visit Brooklyn Pizza (I am a Newport resident) and it was my last. I WILL spread the word. The owner should be ashamed of him/her self. This Restaurant is in the same building as the lobby for the Best Western. I feel bad for the people who stay over night at the Best Western and are hungry after a day of driving only to get a sub-par meal.
I have lived in Georgia, Texas, Connecticut and Tennessee and this meal ranks number 1 for Not Good.
