We visited Apple valley restaurant in early Nov. 2009 again for breakfast.
The last few times we were there the food was good but always takes a long time, this time we ordered one of the breakfast specials with biscuits and gravy, bacon, 2 pancakes, and eggs.
After waiting about 25 min we rec'd our plates, everything was COLD (ever try to eat cold gravy?). There was a piece of toast instead of biscuits, we were told they ran out of biscuits but 5 min later they passed us with another customers plate with biscuits on it ! I saw a review below saying they have grits, sadly they dont any more, thats the main item we were wanting for breakfast. Hard to believe a southern restaurant does not have grits. Its a fairly nice little place except for the super loud and annoying cow bell on the door.
