First time ever writing a review....Just got back from our Ruby Tuesday outing....My husband kept hinting over the weekend that he really wanted to do something special for us....I was THRILLED, and agreed to us treating ourselves out for a bit....We selected Ruby Tuesdays because it seemed like a perfect place for our Sunday "date.".......Where do I even begin....We were first seated, but there was very little A/C on, and I noticed other customers waving their napkins to fan themselves.....When the waitress finally came to our table, she asked if wanted something to drink... We pointed to 2 regular Margarita's, but she asked if we wanted the most expensive...I asked her if she could tell me what the difference might be, and she said " to be honest, I'm not really sure." I then said, " we'll just take the 2 regular, and could we please also have a water and an iced tea.".....Our drinks arrived, but these Margarita's were like pure concentrated Lime-aid, with very little alcohol whatsoever....We accepted them, but said nothing.....I was them told I could start serving myself at the salad bar....Five older people were all there in front of me, but mentioned that the salad bar bins, were completely empty of any lettuces in the 4 bins.....I kindly approached 3 employees standing by the side of their bar, and asked if we could please have the bins of lettuce....All headed into the kitchen area....Ten minutes later they all came out to check their tables, so I kindly asked again, and was told " Ohhhh, I thought it was taken care of" ????? We all remained respectful, when two of the attendants finally came out to refill the bins, but were joking " I'm just gonna throw these lettuces in whatever bins, cause I don't even really eat salad." ?????? By the time I returned to our table, my husband was wondering what took so long, and then said his food was barely warm, very small portions and his Ice tea was brought with no ice????? My Onion Rings ( 6) were cold, and I had to look for our waitress to ask for Catsup...Again, we mentioned nothing about how bad our food service was, and now 10 minutes later she finally remembered about the Catsup???? We were asked about dessert, but politely declined.....She then brought our bill of $65.00 for what was a terrible Sunday late lunch....The receipt included what they felt was a "gratuity " suggestion, but given how there was very little customers in there during our visit there, we left only $10.....For years I have always driven by this restaurant, and even would tell my husband when we'd see their commercials, that we ought to go there sometime.....Such a shame too, because we really love supporting local 😔

My fiance and I ate dinner at the Ruby Tuesday's in Tullahoma last night, Feb 28, 2023.
In case Management wants to check into our experience , and speak with their staff, our receipt says Nerissa G check 3058.
To say I was disappointed is an Understatement. The restaurant was practically empty of customers. There was maybe five tables in use the entire time we were there. It was Not busy at all. Which is another reason I don't understand why our experience was the way that it was.
When we first walked in the hostess desk was empty. And remained empty for the duration.
We stood there for several minutes ignored. Seen. But ignored. I finally asked if we were suppose to seat ourselves ? Then a waitress came over and seated us. My fiance walks with a Cain. She walked us past Numerous empty tables and booths and seated us half way down in a booth on the left. It took him two whole minutes to catch up to where we were. Then she realized he is disabled and offered to move us to a table closer to the front, at that point we just said No thankyou and sat down. She then took our drink order. Ten minutes later she brought my ice water and stated the bartender is new and in training and the drinks would be ready shortly and took our appetizer and dinner order. Few minutes later the drinks came. I recommend the Ruby Relaxer, it was Delicious. Then the long wait. Then the waitress came over and politely asked us " besides your food is there anything else you needed ? " To which I smiled and said " our appetizer ? " And she looked confused and said " ohhh your right " and walked back to the kitchen. She immediately brought us our dinner. We had both ordered steak, rib, shrimp combo with a baked potato instead of fries. We both ordered the steak medium rare. Our dinners were both Missing the shrimp. The steaks were dry and over cooked. The ribs were good. My steak and my baked potato however, had for some unforseen reason had a heavy amount of Salt dumped on top before it was brought out to us. To the point the pile of salt was visible just sitting there all over the food. That was the point I raised complaint. I could Not eat that food. It should have never left the kitchen in that condition. I told our waitress to just pack up our appetizer and our missing shrimp that was never brought out and we would take that home. I told her I wanted a discount because my food can't be ate and showed her the salt. She apologized to me. And she did delete the cost of my meal from the total cost because the food I was served was disgusting and Not able to be consumed. I thought several hours after we went home if I wanted to give a review or not. I decided as a learning experience for the staff that I would post a review. From start to finish I found that dining experience to be a disappointment. The staff was completely Disorganized. They need a Refresher Course on food prep, cooking, and waiting on Customers. You need to be watching the door and greeting customers and walking them to their table immediately. Not glancing over , seeing them, talking amongst yourselves, & watching the TV while they stand there feeling like an idiot contemplating if they should just leave and go eat somewhere else. Cooks need to be paying attention to what the orders are. Appetizer comes Before Entree !! And cook the food as requested by the customers. And Never add unnecessary salt to anyone's food !!!!! Waitresses Need to be checking with the kitchen making sure their orders are done in a timely fashion and not missing items. I will say this, in spite of everything our waitress was polite and very sweet. I did give her a cash tip. Not the standard because let's be honest , the entire experience should have been Better. But when I handed her the tip I did give her I told her that I understood it wasn't all her fault and that it was mostly the fault of kitchen staff not paying attention. And that I felt bad her being the waitress was the one complaint had to be raised with. She thanked me for saying that. We both smiled.
