On our way back from Houston, Tx to Dallas, Tx we (4 of us on Christmas Day) stopped to get the goodies. Everything they have is things you don't see anywhere else. We each got the pork loin, one was the shrimp and the other pork both stuffed, plus drinks and snacks. The staff is so helpful, friendly and courteous. Made the trip home pleasant. The next day cooked the pork loin and so so so very tender. Amazing flavors. Wish they had shipping because we would order up. Always our stop place when passing thru Centerville, Tx either coming or going...sometimes both.

Well, I stopped because I heard that there was good pie. I found some amazing pickles and the pie was delicious. I also got sliced beef, chopped beef and chicken barbecue sandwiches which were all subpar. Very nice Smoky flavor. Meat a little dry. That took one of the Stars away. And the other star was taken from the boudin. Being from south Louisiana, well, I have taste buds for good boudin. So hey tell me that the guy making the Boudin is from Louisiana also. I thought well let's give this a shot okay. Well... in my opinion the Boudin was too ricey and it was dry also. It had nice spice I could have used a little more liver. Not being insulting but I'm going to say that your Boudin maker is not from far enough in south Louisiana. But hey I guess he couldn't cut it in that state so he come to Texas. And I would say that the pricing was a little high. $48 later I'm driving down the interstate 1 1/2 Links of boudin going why did I purchase this. Anyways, can't win them all... Where would you put all the trophies

Where to begin... “Woodys” is a good name for this place because they are rock hard DICKS is the most pejorative way
Been using this joint as a midway point for a couple of years to refuel (gas and belly) as well as make deliveries between houston and dallas. They made it really easy to never go back.
In the process of transferring 1 single item some hillbilly with a clipboard starts accosting us and telling us how were taking money away from him.
Mind you - 1) we were going to get gas once we were done 2) we were going to eat in their restaurant 3) the pumps that were were at were AWAY from (at the time) the seemingly most trafficked pumps 4) their gas pumps were approximately 80% empty.
The dude yelled at us for no reason and while I get that my dollar (or lack thereof) will not make or break this establishment I will spend the rest of my Texas-living life ensuring that no dollars get spent at this location
