An exceptional place, 1838 grill is a rarity in Seguin. It is an established wholesome good comfort food with also healthy food beautiful salads.
🍰 The cakes are all homemade from scratch. And they are humongous. And the taste is to beat all they are perfection!!!!. Fantastic staff oh wait shoe and really work there there butts off to make sure you are happy and pleased. And I takeoff my hat to the chefs and to the owner who makes the cakes just absolute perfection there's nothing else that you can say. This is Seguin's Crim Dela Crim of food💜

The jumbo shrimp, steak fries is amazing ! The tarter sauce taste really delicious as well !!

Fantastic service fantastic food go there to to three times a month and I've never had anything bad and the prices are very reasonable

After just posting a review on the website, I was very disappointed this weekend. After checking website for special hours and seeing no exceptions posted I brought friends with me from New Braunfels for mid-afternoon dinner. When we got there we found that the grill was closed Friday through Sunday.

The last time I was there there was a note on the door that I believe said they would start closing on Tuesdays.

I think good business practice would dictate that you post all hour changes or day/holiday changes on the website for the consideration of your customers.

I still think the restaurant was awesome, but disappointed in the website managing!

We had lunch at 1838 recently. There were 6 in our party. Nearly everyone ordered a different entrí©e. Server was great. Everyone received exactly what they ordered. All the food was prepared well, in generous servings and very tasty. Prices were very affordable. A great restaurant and an asset to Seguin.

Food was good. Great prices! Sierra was a great server. Very sweet, and always smiles.

I did notice the boss was being very mean to their servers, but i guess bosses have bad days too. Always respect your employers.

Great food again!
