Hello Brandon.
Thank you for responding to my comment in the spirit it was sent. That was the first review I have ever given. Don’t know how I ever found the site. This may not get to you because I can’t find the previous site. ( I am a dinosaur at 88 years old ) we lived in Manhattan for 10 years, Most restaurants served bread ( free bread ) usually a variety. Guess we are a little spoiled. My wife and I dine at The Barrel about every two weeks. I always enjoy the Chicken Fried Steak ( even on Hamburger Mondays ) My wife usually has Peppered Steak ,since the Shrimp Pasta was discontinued. We like the new booth arrangement m We once sat at the open table by the Hostess Station for about a minute. We left and ate at the Grill across the way. We now make reservations as a result. Operating a Restaurant / Bar must take a special talent, Thanks fo doing the best you can so we all can enjoy a nice meal. Daily life always has challenges to overcome such as the $1.50 Buns but we seem to continue to make thru the day. I apologize for the one star rating and hope that a potential new diner will not be deterred from enjoying The Barrel Dining Experience. Have a nice life.
