The owner has a child running around a bar. During a music filled evening. The food was not anything to write home about. Typical bar food but lacks in flavor. It's Texas, your queso or as they call it "K" so, should kick so the name should have hinted a bit more, as in K so where is the flavor? The fried pickles came to the table cold. The drinks were watered by the time we got them, the bartender Courtney, I believe was her name needs classes. Simple drinks such as a house margarita and jack and coke should not be difficult to make let alone consist of more water than anything. The owner was more worried about showcasing her voice singing with the band on stage than making sure her bar and grill were ran appropriately. The manager his name started with a Z, Zane, Zack or something was more interested in socializing than ensuring patrons were well served. Over all I understand the appeal of the environment they are going for, especially in an undeserved area unless it's lake season. But overall they are missing the mark completely. I will say our waitress ( her name started with an H, but it escapes me at the moment) was attentive, quick to get our itmes out and check on us. She even questioned if the food was to our liking as she noticed we barely touched it. I 100% feel as tho the reviews online that mention the bartender Courtney, even going as far to use her name are definitely friends. There is NO way this place has that many positive reviews without feedback unless it's from friends. If you are looking for a place that has great food, fantastic margaritas and a cool environment in the area, I suggest City limits. Don't waste your money on over priced bar food and watered drinks.
