Hubby and I gave Billy's BBQ a whirl last month, and wow, that brisket was juicy and tender enough to make you forget all your worries. The ribs? So good they practically danced off the bone, and the homemade sausage had our taste buds throwing a party. Friendly folks, generous portions, and a cozy vibe make this the kind of joint I'm already planning to haunt every time I'm in Bastrop.

Me and my family come all the way from San Antonio, Texas to get some great BBQ. Sad when you have to drive an hour and a half just to get good food anymore.

My husband and I stopped by on July 4th
The brisket just melt in your mouth. It was awesome. The pitmaster knows what they are doing.

Great food and friendly staff. You just can't beat Billy's. And they even have all beef sausage for the one who won't eat pork.
