My wife & I have been eating at catfish king every Sunday after church. The fish is always Hot & Good. We always ask for water with our meal. They NEVER CHARGE for water. Last Sunday afternoon we went to eat there & THEY CHARGED US FOR WATER. The lady at the register was real RUDE. I told her we have never paid for water there or anywhere else & ask to talk to the manager. The manager would not talk to us at all.Said it was the MANAGERS decision if the water was free or they charged for it. She said it cost them. I told her if she neede water she could come to our house & get a thousand gallions for free. I am a diabetic water is all I can drink with a meal.

went into this place about 2 weeks ago the food was cold when I arrived at my table I asked for new fish sit and watch the guy put a ton of salt on the fish before you cook it and then had the nerve to bring it up to me should I call the police most terrible service would not eat there ever again I suggest you don't either can't believe that people do stuff like that to people these people have no business owning a restaurant these people are pigs
10/24/2013 - raw fish at best undercooked
10-24-13 I am speaking for 7 people (different families). Over the past 2 months I have been to Catfish King, Texarkana, TX, 5 times. Every time I have told them crispy or extra extra crispy or just plain brown. NEVER was my order cooked properly. I received under cooked fish or raw fish in the middle every time. Upon mentioning this to friends and family every one of them, upon their own visit, said the same thing as I have.
They need to either follow the customers request as to preparing the fish or fire the cook and start over. I don't know who he was but there was a tall thin dark haired young man that was at the cash register that was excellent, he did a great job.
on 10-23-13 I visited this location again and the cashier was a mess to deal with, he said he had only been there 2 weeks......he was kinda rude.
Shape up Catfish King!!!! We want it cooked right. I will have to say the 3 times I've had the Country fried steak has always been excellent there. The hush puppies (roiund ones) were burnt.
