Just ordered the fish basket to go. It was really good! The fish was fresh and tasty, and the serving was generous. I highly recommend this place, You should give it a try!

Because of limited dining options in town, we go to DS a couple of times a month. I’m told they changed owners a year or so ago but I don’t know. Somewhere around that time they took a turn for the worse. They’re fast food mostly, so you can’t expect fine dining. But changes they’ve made have disappointed. They used to have really good chicken tenders, crispy and fresh tasting. Now they are over processed, really weird looking, and I’m not even sure it’s chicken it’s so tasteless. Their TexMex is so salty it’s inedible IMO.The best thing they have is their burgers, and they are the best in town, which of course isn’t saying a whole lot. The help is always nice and cheerful, so that’s a plus.

I have hesitated ordering anything from here because of all the bad reviews. I happen to be working from home, and this town does not have a lot to offer for dining. I decided to call and order a burger and fries, and the only other option besides Diamond S is Sonic, and I'm never real happy with them. Anyway, the burger and fries were just great, and the person who helped me at the drive thru was very pleasant. While I was waiting for my food, I could see the kitchen, and it looked clean and organized. The worker that I could see was wearing a hair net. I just think that people should give this place a chance like I did. They might be pleasantly surprised.

kids kids hired ----------- way to young with no experience working anywhere around people.. every time you walk in there there's a new face...kids appriality not paying them a fair wage...turn over very high..

Bad experience a crew leader name Kristie Bourg and her daughter Elizabeth do drugs saw countless times that they be popping Xanax bars and they harassed other employees and their family for their drugs even get their own ppl fired who doesn’t do drugs. This place needs to be evaluated or shut down till they can get better ppl and quit firing the ones that don’t do drugs and get rid of the users and minors who do drugs.

Went in to eat ordered a chicken fajita salad. What do you want cut she ask. Please cut onions. This salad comes out with guacamole no where on menu does it say it come with this. The manager ask can I scrape it off. Not happening. So left untouched salad sitting on the table. What has this restaurant went to. They don't care about the customers I guess

I love Diamond S. and I have friends who love it. The fish platter is wonderful, and the people are always very nice to me. Seems like the only ones who post bad reviews are the ones who don't like it,or maybe they are just unhappy because it changed hands. People who enjoy going there need to start posting!

At Diamonds S you used to be able to get free salsa chips with your order before there was newer people owning it but now since there are newer people owning it the business is not that good . Recently tonight I ordered a fish platter with an extra piece of fish and I never got my extra piece of fish but they charged me for it . And plenty of people even myself have said they never answer the phone I call multiple times and they never answer the phone so I have to drive up there and order . Plus the employees are really rude. Recently tonight I ordered and one of the female employees was saying that it is was getting late why are people still there and that employee was the same one saying to me when me and my friends came in about a month ago saying “ why did we have to come so late .” And I thought that was really unprofessional . Plus every time I come the business is really slow. Hopefully this business improves with the newer people owning it .

Been eating at ds 2-3 times a month for past 4- years. What has happened to chicken-fried steak? Ordered one today. Knew immediately something was wrong when waitress sat it down. #1, it was perfectly round. no irregular edges like real meat. Don't know for sure but would bet a dime against a donut whole it came from Sysco are similar purveyor of imitation meat. #2. No crunchy breading as in days gone by. Meat was very tight and compact in texture and grey in color.#3. No flavor or taste, real meat has fat to provide flavor and taste. Don't know if this change is due to cost or something else. If it's cost, raise the price, never ever lower the quality. Now I have to let my e-mail friends know I can no longer vouch for quality of d/s c.f.s. Fred M. Weatherly 798-8164.

Terrible--frozen meat patties. Order was WRONG even AFTER they supposedly checked it to be sure for what I specifically asked. Called them they didn't know the name of the manager or owner. Thirty dollars for tacos and double cheeseburger basket (no cheese) and two salsas?! And then it's WRONG and they were at a loss on how to resolve it. Ugh. Never, ever again. Sonic or McDonald's would've been better.

Rude Staff!! From the time we tried to order and the staff was on the phone with a non work call in the middle of ordering to the point where they rang something up wrong and yelled at us from across the place to come up and pay more. I did not mind paying the right price they could of came to our table to explain what happened not yell that we needed to come up to the counter to fix it. Then they forgot to even cook the kids meals and not one sorry said. Every time we say thank you t them they never said you welcome or anything back

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE... It took atleast 45 minutes to get our food, had a german roach crawl across the window seal headed towards our table, my mom killed the nasty thing and told the lady behind the counter and she(my mom) also offered to wipe our table and the employee said all they had to clean with was degreaser. My mom cleaned a couple more tables behind us just in case. The lady notified her boss and she never came out of her office, nice to know she didn't care about her store or her customers.

This place needs help I ordered an order of the deluxe nachos, which I believe to be really good and get a good quantity of food for your money. But the service is horrible I ordered it in like 30 minutes before I got there and still had to wait 30 more! Minutes. That is ridiculous how do they expect people to come back with that kind of service I wouldn't recommend this place to eat at, only if something is done about that staff, they need a real supervisor who knowswhat they are doing.

This place is horrible especially if you're at the drive through or call in an order I went through the drive through ordered and was told to come back in about 15 minutes only to find that they haven't even started on my food and in the end they still got it wrong not to mention it was poorly made. Now if you're inside it's a tad better unless you expect any kind of service

I called in a to go order. The girl read me back my order and said it would be about 10 minutes. I get there and no one has no idea about my order. The girl even asked me if I was sure I actually called my order in!!!!.... really??? No I just randomly pull up to places and say I have an order to go!!!! DUH!!! Then after she casually walked around to find someone to blame she finally came back and said well no one here said they took ur order. I can take ur order now if u want!!! Not happy at all!!! Looks like an adult needs to be here to supervise these very unproffessional kids that work here
