what a joke.. catfish fridays all you can eat.they brought us 3 little catfish a spoonful of coleslaw and 2 hush puppies and never came back. i went and told them my husband was wanting more. 20 min. later never brought them. so we went up and told them just give us our money back. they said oh ,you wanted more fish.. what a joke awful!!!will not be back

My 7 year old son would eat at Herschel's in Pittsburg every day if he could!! The way management and the staff interacts with my son every time we come in always makes us feel at home. I am not initially from Pittsburg so when our family comes to town to visit, we always eat breakfast here and they always enjoy it. Prices have been reduced and the food still taste great!! Herschel's to me and my son is our family restaurant!!

My income is about $50,000 and I eat out a lot. Used to be a mystery shopper for Shoney's for over a year in Tn. This restaurant has terrible food, and the last time I was there the manager was rude. Did not want me answering cell phone right after Ft. Hood Attack. Since then I advise my friends never to eat there. My money spends a lot better and this unpatriotic manager is not a problem. So we eat now at IHOP Mt Pleasant, and elsewhere. I consider this reastaurant to be promoslem and unpatriotic and I don't mind telling tohers my opinion. My ancestors founded Pittsburg, TX as my GGF's grandmother was Drucilla Neal Pitts. When visitors come from out of town to visit the Pittsburg museum I take them but I insist they not eat at Hershel's in Pittsburg or Mt Pleasant.
The breakfast at Shoney's was not too bad, but
I don[t pay excessive prices to go to a restaurant that has rude managers or waitresses.
I passed this info along to IHOP when I did a review on them regarding one of their waitresses.
