After several days near Big Bend, stopping for brunch here was a welcome break with enormous servings and a charmingly quirky 50s theme. The food tastes great, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere feels homey and unpretentious, perfect for couples on a budget or anyone craving classic diner fare. Although it's not a gourmet experience, the staff's warmth and the fact that it's open late make it a reliable option when passing through Alpine.
