05/23/2010 - Pizza Lover
I was really excited when I heard Troy was getting a Pizza place a couple years ago, as it's a real pain to drive to Temple to get my pie fix. The first Pizza I ordered from them was a mess. There was something wrong with the crust (was doughy and wet/watery) and the sauce was tasteless. I was crushed and didn't go back until 2 years later, as I figured that surely they would have corrected the problems by now. Well, I was wrong, same terrible Pizza. I make my own Pizza when I have time to do the dough and the nearest thing I can figure is they use pre-made/cooked frozen dough crusts and they let them thaw in a watery bath. Here's my suggestion: Go and buy a dough press and get your dough in bulk from Sam's Club, add some freaking spices to your sauce, charge a REASONABLE price for your pizza ($6.99 for a large, one topping) and you will have all the business you could ever want!!!!
