06/14/2021 - Patrick
2 hour and 10 minute meal.
Our waitress, Kari?, was inattentive and inept.
By comparison 2 different tables seated well after us albeit with different servers but similar orders were in and out before we received our entrees.
To wit; 35 minutes AFTER we put our entree order in she came to tell us it would be 20 more minutes.
Literally 38 minutes later we actually got the food.
Sounds like our waitress forgot to put the order in"¦.
Now, let's get to the food:
A $35.00 ribeye should be tender and flavorful.
Unfortunately mine was tough and bland.
The mashed potatoes were cold.
My Daughters gumbo was fair at best.
My Wife's beef medallions were good, but the "gorgonzola" cream sauce was lacking in gorgonzola.
Her mashed potatoes had been sitting on a hot plate for so long that they had formed a skin/were hard.
By the way, if you order bread they will charge you $3.00 for 4 tough slices of French bread.
I would encourage anyone wanting a decent meal to look elsewhere:
Overpriced, inattentive staff, and food that is probably on par, if not below, your average Cracker Barrel.
