The taquitos and street tacos here remind me of authentic Southern California Mexican food, and the strawberry margarita pitcher was exactly what I needed after a long week. The service is generally fast and friendly, with Mariah standing out as an excellent server, though there were some issues with bar service and drink accuracy during my visit. The hearty tamales, chicken quesadilla, and churros make for a comforting meal, and despite some minor hiccups, this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in town.

The taquitos at Palacio Maya are a definite hit for me, especially since they serve the salsa in individual bowls, which I appreciate to avoid sharing dips. Despite the lack of authentic Mexican food options in Northwest Ohio, Palacio Maya stands out as one of the best I've tried, with flavors reminiscent of So Cal cuisine. The interior decor exudes an authentic vibe, making you feel like you've stepped into a true Mexican establishment, and their Texas tornado burrito is a must-try for any food enthusiast.
