Called at 5 PM to order 3 takeout pasta dishes for my granddaughter and her friends. They are competing in a nearby dance competition and were counting on getting one of their favourites. Restaurant opens at 5 so it's the beginning of their day. REFUSED TO FILL A TAKEOUT ORDER. They said that they weren't doing it that day. I went up the chain to the chef/owner who still refused.
I'm disgusted by this behaviour and their inflexibility. The community (me among them) supported their business through takeout during Covid. Someone please explain why they lack the capacity to make three plates of pasta at the outset of their business day when the kitchen cannot be busy. They told me that their first customers were just walking in.
I'll have to think long and hard about whether I want to patronize them again.
