The First Markham Place location offers a clean, upscale environment with a large dining area and an open kitchen where chefs prepare Shanghai-style dim sum, including soup dumplings and pork and chive dumplings that are generally well-executed, though some inconsistencies in quality exist. The menu features a variety of dishes such as hot and sour soup, scallion pancakes, and chili tendons, with friendly and efficient service contributing to a pleasant dining experience despite occasional minor service lapses. While parking can be challenging due to high demand and prices are on the higher side, the overall food quality and atmosphere make it a worthwhile choice for dim sum enthusiasts in the area.
