2 orders of Fish'nChips (halibut), 1 spaghetti with meat sauce ordered by phone on Good Friday, April, 2023. What a disaster. We are not knew to this restaurant & have eaten here a dozen times over the past four years.
The fish was good, nicely done although one piece was soggy on the end. The size was for a child measured 5" x 3" not suitable for an adult. The fries were the worst we have ever eaten from across the world. They were not fresh. They were from days ago, burnt, soggy, limp, no crispness, pieces cut into exposing the inner fry just deplorable. Two orders in the garbage. Coleslaw. Who eats it served warm? This is 2nd time coleslaw has come this way, it's never fresh. You think I like throwing away my food and for $18 each meal? The spaghetti for kid who devours it constantly but not this one. Why are carrots in the meat sauce? No flavour and there were leftovers for the garbage. Another $18 down the drain.
I posted once about the quality if the food being very good. Maybe the cook left, who knows, but to serve food not for consumption means it's time for Public Health to make a visit. I do not recommend Carbon Restaurant in Thornhill Ontario.
