The original Portuguese tart here is always fresh and flaky, with a variety of other pastries and cakes that catch my eye, though the sandwiches-especially the Bifana with tomato onion sauce-truly stand out for their deliciousness. The coffee is smooth and strong, reminiscent of authentic Italian espresso, making it my go-to for a quality caffeine fix when nearby. Although the plaza around it lacks many dining options, this bakery compensates with friendly service, a good selection of both sweet and savory items, and a comfortable atmosphere with plenty of seating.

I love going to this bakery for their delicious Portuguese tarts. The branding on their updated boxes is flashy and eye-catching, making it easy to spot their treats in the plaza. The staff is always friendly, and the steak sandwiches are a must-try.
