This really pains me to give such a low star review but it seems like the only way business will pay attention to what they’re doing. I absolutely love Saving Thyme. Excellent food, best in GTA in my opinion. But, the recent change to how you order food with a QR code means I will never come back here. I have elderly parents who can’t figure out the system, disabled friends who just don’t have a smart phone, and me personally who just cannot tolerate taking a simple process like ordering food and making it needlessly complex. This is not modernizing, this making a poor experience for your customers. I cannot support a business like this anymore. To the owners of this restaurant, please look at what you’re doing and how it’s impacting your customers. It’s unfortunate that your priority is no longer on providing excellent service. I’ll change my rating when this insane system is gone.

Did not enjoy their new system of having the Patron Scan and order food off your own phone. When our scanner was not working we asked for menus but they had just given 3 to the table next to us, that was also struggling…..We were told no more hard copy menus and had to wait until they were done. Personally, going into a restaurant, being seated, while all at the same time being welcomed and walked through menu is very helpful and personable. Maybe in 6 months the robots will come out and serve our food too!!
