My favorite gas station is the one with the friendly clerks who work mornings on weekdays, serving up delicious Mexican Hot Cocoa that reminds me of champurrado. The warm and comforting drink is a chocolate-based atole with hints of cinnamon and vanilla, bringing back sweet memories of childhood. The genuine greetings from the older gentleman and the kindness of the red-haired lady make this place a welcoming stop to fuel up and warm up in the mornings. It's a clean and convenient Shell station with plenty of pumps, easy access, and even offers Raging Sage coffee - a perfect pick-me-up before continuing your journey in Tucson.
