First I'd like to say. How is this place even up and running ? I've done customer service all my live and even on my worst day. Ive never given bad customer service my customers were always made to feel welcome and wanted I was a restaurant manager of 2 24 hr restaurants at the same time for 4 yrs and not even my employees ever been known to be as unprofessional as this place of business. Seems like the business partners some short lady server seemed more worried about there phones and belittling former employees and another business owner with in the building then to see if I needed a refill or even take my order in a timely manner then I see quote on quote the business partner at end of counter filing her finger nails where all customers could see how discusting! The male business partner is a ride person in general. I was suppose to meet my clients there for lunch I was so flabbergasted and disappointed after being there 45 mins I got up and paid and left not knowing where I could meet my new clients at and make this a good business lunch so in walking to my car out back of the restaurant and i see a waitress walkin. Into work at another restaurant I hesitated for quite sometime but decided to check it out with only 20 mins before my clients were gonna show up for the business lunch I walk in totally different atmosphere warm friendly clean i was greeted promptly I was overwhelmed with relief this server was bubbly upbeat every sweet offered appetizers and even asked if I wanted lemon with my water totally different out cone from sinbads! Still a little upset with sinbads I contacted my clients and directed them to geronimos then I see this younger lady she was a server as well sane sweet friendly bubbly professional spoke as she walked by me speaking to everyone as she walked pass them now I'm feeling very confident about this spot. My clients so up and was greeted in the same professional manner I was. Before the end of our lunch the chef came to table to assure our meal was tobour likings very nice professioñal gentleman and then the business owner herself was there working and just as friendly and professional as her staff. I then found out. This was a family business the chef and restaurant owner was mothervb son and the waitress were mother and daughter these 4 people made my clients and I very happy with this restaurant as we begin to leave the waitress who was at sinbads walks in and wants a soda is exactly how she asked for it the waitress say said ok that will be 2.25 the sinbads waitress was ok well here which I thoughtvwas rude then trys to talk about sone guy on social media to the waitress while she was checking my clients and I out at check out. Vanessa our waitress tells her politely hold on I'm handling this with my customers. The sinbads waitress could careless and proceeded to wanna distract my waitress so again very rude I was impressed that my waitress Vanessa didn't get unprofessional but she didn't but if the waitress from sinbads is that bad and goes to another restaurant for a soft drink what does that tell you about this place. It was so smokey in sinhads and it was like we were a bother to even walk in the door I will not ever recommend sinbads as a place to eat regardless the circumstances anyways then Vanessa's daughter walks up to me and thanks me for dining there and welcome me backb and told us about the specials for the next week when id be returning to Tucson for a business meeting ! Thank you Serena your a Gem and very professional if I could give geronimos 10 gold stars I would a letter to BBB for good customer service food and environment so they could be recognized for the best restaurant in Tucson I would I will be reaching out to sinbads corporate office with a formal complaint and to the BBB because I seen a few violations within sinbads that need to be addressed . Thanks geronimos for the best experience ever thank u Vanessa for being a gem of a waitress thank u for ur kindness thank for the time u came and even had a little conversation with us thank u Serena for making us feel welcome ur wonderful as well hope u both are here for a longtime we have now decided when my company meets clients it will be geronimos and not sinbads and to the business owner and the chef. You to or naturals and take pride in ur culture food ur restaurant and genuine excellent customer service as busy as it was while I was there none of u panicked service was fast food was amazing y'all our naturals and are truly gifted at what u do and I thank u and will see u next week as far as sinbads I will make sure noone ever experiences the awfulness that I did ! I don't even wanna leave sinbads 1 star it was so disappointing but thankfully I seen Vanessa walking into one of the most professional restaurants on University Blvd u Guys Rock!

Wonderful food and great service. Love Faisal as he is kind, considerate and generous with the portions. Great mediterranean option here for the whole university and downtown area
