Blackwater is a spacious but cozy environment with free WiFi and a meeting space available to the community. If you’re short on time, we have a drive-thru, or you can skip the line by calling in an order via phone or placing an online order. Blackwater also serves a fine selection of beer and wine.

The interior here is really charming, with plenty of seating options in cheerful yellow hues that make you want to settle in. My group tried a turtle mocha and a couple of seasonal drinks, all of which were absolutely delicious. The only downside was the limited number of bathrooms, which were quite busy during our visit due to the shop's popularity.

I was a long time customer. Ive noticed a steady decline of customers for a while. I have been extremly patient with this coffe shop since they are the only coffee shop on 12 that Im aware of. Mocha frequently missing expresso. Employees will try to flash bodies to get tips. Employees talk about a "back area" eluding to a something like a brothel. Service is extremely slow. A lot of the staff is highly unfriendly...no greetings no smiles. Constatly reminded by employees that they "need" tips, and request for higher tips. Lots of complaints by employees of poor treatment by owners twords employees. I would not bring kids here in the evenings. I witnessed 2 employees holding each others hands and grabbing each others crotch while waiting for my Mocha that had they forgot to add expresso to yet again for 25 minutes. They did not wash their hands after grabbing each other and they were making food. There was no one else in line or waiting. I took the items I ordered and threw them away at the outside garbage can. Its gross I dont want crotch flavored coffee or food they fired the guy, but kept the gal. They were equally guilty and equally responsible. Very sexist policy in my opinion. Contacted owners. The owners did not seem to care. Will not go back

They have great sandwiches and wraps, but a little over priced. And I wouldn't say there coffee is the greatest, but I'm not a big coffee drinker so I'm not a good judge.
