03/13/2010 - Katrina
First of all, I got the menu and prices from Dragon Palace's site. When I got there to pick up my order the Chicken Chow Mein combo was $6.45, site stated $4.75. The General Tao was $9.95, site stated $8.25 and the S&S Chicken was $8.95, site stated $7.25. That is quite a difference! The chicken chow mein was good, but the fried rice that came with it was terrible, NO taste. The General Tao's had only 6 pieces of chicken but had 12+ pieces of broccoli and BIG mushrooms in it and the taste was pasty and was not spicy as indicated on the menu. I might have paid $4-$5 for this, at the most. The S&S Chicken pieces were good, got 9 of them for $8.95 but the sauce was brown, tasted burnt and nasty.
We have eaten their food for years and has been pretty good, but we will NEVER go back. We totally threw away $27.16 and threw away the food. You would do much better eating at cheapo Egg Roll King or Fangs or even Eddie Changs.
