We are gong to miss going to dinner when you close Feb.16 but until then we will see you 2-3 times a week.
I have never had a better steak or walleye anywhere. the home made soups are to die for.! And Suzie
makes the absolute best deserts [carrot cake....wow] For those of you who haven't been there, you missed

Be sure you call for a reservation, especially if you have a larger group since seating is limited. We had a group of 10 and although our main server was one of the owners, there was always someone clearing plates and refilling drinks, everyone kept busy. The steaks were wonderful, new york, top butt. I had the shrimp scampi which wasn't bad but next time I will order a steak. The shirmp cocktail has huge shirmp and good to share. I do wish the meal came with vege and a potato. I opted for the chicken wild rice soup to start which was very good, the salad comes with goldfish crackers on top, interesting. My daughter and I split the chocolate cake with ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce. Very good and huge!
If you don't have a sense of humor with the waitress, stay home, she's entertaining and means well. A good place to meet friends for a nice evening without the headaches of downtown parking. They will be missed.

We went to the Lakeside to meet my brother and sister in-law for dinner last night. We continue the tradition our parents started many years ago of going to the Lakeside for real good food served by real good people in a real atmosphere for real people. It's always an enjoyable experience full of laughs and satisfied appetites.
