My favorite spot for a summer evening in MN is by the St. Croix river in Stillwater near the old lift bridge. Get there early for a leisurely walk by the river and unwind at Pappies open-air bar and restaurant with a nice view of the river and boat docks. The atmosphere is lively with great music and a loyal crowd that loves the place.
