We were excited to see this place pop up near us. My wife checked it out last week. Came back with less than stellar reviews, mostly that the product was overpriced (over $5 for most baked goods). She brought home some old fashioned donuts. They were... weird. Dry, frosting was off. Not good. I wanted to give the place a second try and we bought scones and caramel rolls yesterday. Not good. scones were undercooked, caramel rolls were small and dense. Not sure what's going on here... using old baking powder? My fear is that unexperienced high school kids are doing the baking. We won't be back a 3rd time any time soon. But will watch the reviews to see if necessary improvements are made! For now... if you want a pastry, go to Festival goods - it will be tastier and it will be a third of the price.
