Unfortunately, RJ's has permanently closed its doors, which is disappointing. The juicy lucys were delicious, and the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made it feel like a second home.

As I am new to MN., We decided to take a drive, it was a Saturday. We crossed over the highway 61 bridge into a town called Hastings! The First thing we had noticed was the charming and historic looking downtown area. We walked around a bit and then stopped at Rj's for dinner. Upon walking in the door, we were awed. What a beautiful restaurant. We sat, and were promptly greeted by or very nice waitress. The menu had some great items to choose from, and our waitress was very helpful on recommendations. I had the Reuben! Oh my goodness. One of the best I've ever had!!! My husband had a burger. The Juicy Lucy Of course I had a bite of that as well. I mean if you like warm, melted cheese gushing out your burger, this is a must try, and was definitely NOT a frozen patty. Very fresh and juicy. One more thing, the Bloody Mary is delicious!

I went to Rj's 2 weeks ago on a Friday. I had the Granny's Favorite (A burger stuffed with cream cheese and olives), my dad had the Moody Blue. Also a stuffed burger. Both were AMAZING! I would definitely recommend Rj's. Great food & Great Service. My dad told our waitress she made our dining experience just a little more special!

Wowza! We think this place is awesome. Every time we have been here we are greeted with a smile. The food has been great and most importantly they refill my soda. I don' t have to ask multiple times, the server/ bartender 's are very attentive, and make sure you have what you need/ want.
