The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, especially with the complimentary pinto beans and Blue Bell ice cream. The wait staff are incredibly friendly and always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I love that they also have live music in the tavern - can't wait to go back for another enjoyable evening!

First time there and were very impressed. Portions on servings were more than expected. Prices were very resonable. Menu had something for everyones taste. Will be sure and go there next time we are in Tyler.

I gave 3 stars because we had a great waitress.
We were excited to find a place near our doctor's office to eat at after our doctor's appointment.
Boy were we disappointed. The décor was okay. Good crowd, but not the food. Our food was lukewarm to cold. My husband sent back his gravy and black eyed peas. The second serving was as bad as the first. I did not bother to send any of my cold food back.
The waitress was very apologetic got us a 10 percent off, total of less than $2.00 for on a 1/3 of eaten food.
Will not go back, no matter if it is convenient.
