It's always delightful to order from them. There are turkey subs are always tastes delicious when they're added in banana peppers and hot crush peppers on them. The chicken wings are always hot and delicious also. Their delivery service is very quick and the drivers are always pleasant to say hi to. I always recommend everybody that I know to order from them because they're a great place to get food from.

Best food in town! I will always love this place, and to all these haters, GO KICK ROCKS YOU IGNORANT PIECES OF TRASH! The women are always so nice no matter how late at night. Anyone who answers the phone is wonderfully nice. I rate this restaurant a 10/10! Spend your money here people! it's worth it.

I'm 54 years old. Thought I'd give another local place a try. Absolutely the worst pizza and fried mushrooms I've had the displeasure to eat. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I am currently working in Rome and I was going to order for a crew of 7. I was reading the reviews and quickly changed my mind. Whether any of this is true or not, it is detrimental to your business. Especially in times like these.

Ordered a turkey sub. Not enough meat on it for a half a sub. Very disappointed and when I called the shop they said, “Sorry, this is the way we make the sub.” Would have been better off going to a supermarket buying a sandwich roll and some turkey. Will never go back.

Walk in to order. Some guy is literally laying on the counter. The girl working tells him he needs to leave so she can take orders. They kiss, he leaves. She says “I’ll be right with you” and walks into the back. I’m sorry but that is terrible customer service. I will not be back there and it’s a shame because I live right down the street and USED to go there frequently. Yay Rome trash ruining good businesses

Person on the phone is so rude. They hung up on me and now I'm on a "do not deliver" list because I "took too long" to reply to one of their questions.

Whoever answers the phone should be fired. She is a rotten nasty person. Rude. Puts you hold. Answers very snotty.
Not to mention that the menu price for what we wanted said $18.99 and she quoted me $29- are you kidding me?! I called back and after about 49 rings she rudely answered and told me I must be reading a VERY OLD MENU. WHAT A D. BAG.

I called at 11:30 pm. Granted its late on a Friday night, but it still does not excuse the rudeness of the woman on the phone. I asked for a delivery and she replied "it's gonna be a long time" I put my phone down and ask if that is okay with my wife and the phone cut off. After I call back and ask to place a pick up order she very rudely replies " it's gonna be an hour for pick up or delivery and thanks for hanging up on me". I am a restaurant cook at The BUSIEST restaurant in the same city and can't believe the way this girl came across. I rarely do, and now will never again, think to order from Cianfrocco's Subs.

I like their calzones. I don't order anything else often. I've never had their wings or pizza, but I think the Cianfrocco family is a very nice family. I like their poppers, but that's not like some kind of artisan cuisine- every body's poppers are good no matter where they're coming from usually- unless they're over-fried. I have had a few of their cold sandwiches, subs; and my friend ordered a Reuben there. He said the Reuben was excellent and I have no complaints. I do agree that sometimes the counter staff or whoever grabs the phone is not very friendly. I think that is an unfortunate trend of a lot of Rome-Utica area businesses- rough around the edges and maybe they've been doing whatever they're doing for too long. There's a couple other characteristics you run into all over the place (in Rome): you usually and I think maybe always, which is strange because this is the only place in the world that I've experienced this, receive one setting of silverware. Usually I've received numerous settings for each serving. You get a clean fork or spoon for soup or salad, then you get a clean setting for an appetizer; you get another setting after each dish is finished to replace what was used. At most places, with few exceptions, if you haven't finished your meal and it's getting close to closing you may actually get kicked out of the place or be given a warning like: "You know we're closing soon!", which is despicable for running a restaurant business of any kind- but here it happens-nature of the market I suppose. If this were a larger city, if there were more people, if the market provided more variety, if there was a tourist industry to speak of- we probably wouldn't experience these unfortunate things. Rome NY can be a nice place to live, or in particular raise a family- which seems to be the main reason for any growth in residency. It's safe, but it has enough shortcomings that travel can be very refreshing.

This was the nastiest food I've ever had. The person who answered the phone was not pleasant and the food was gross.Save your money people and do not order from them. Not to mention I paid for stuff that wasn't even delivered, my bread was stale and my wings were over cooked. I will NEVER order from them again, NEVER!!!! I could have kept my $20 plus tip.
