The food here is fantastic, with a wide variety of choices and excellent service in a bright, sunny environment. Despite the surprising Google rating of 3.6, I would give it a perfect score for the incredibly soft bread and the standout pineapple shortbread cakes, which are the best I've encountered in either Vancouver or Toronto. Everything we tried, from the steamed buns to the black sesame sponge cake, was delicious and well worth the visit, making it a regular stop whenever I'm on the west coast.
