My first visit was with a group of nine, where the service was excellent and no service charge was added despite the large reservation, resulting in a cost of about $58.44 USD per person with great hotpot quality and fresh ingredients. On subsequent visits, including one with just two people on a Friday night without a reservation, seating was prompt, the seafood and meats remained fresh and flavorful, and the unique dim sum and congee offerings provided a satisfying variety beyond the hotpot experience.

I visited Garden City Hot Pot for the first time back in October 2022 with a group of friends, and we had a great experience despite not having made a reservation. The service was impressive, and the total cost per person was reasonable for a group of 9. On a later visit with just my fiance, we were seated promptly on a Friday night without any issues, and the food quality was exceptional. The hot pot selection was particularly outstanding, and the atmosphere was lively with a Chinese music playlist playing in the background.
