I really wanted to enjoy my trip to Mr. India, but when we went it was a whole different story. We waited nearly 5 minutes to be seated in their empty dine-in area. The server hardly talked to us, and we did not see him after getting our food.
The food itself was unforgivable. I could make a better butter chicken myself with store-bought sauce. This tasted like processed meat cubes and Campbell's tomato soup. The naan bread was nice, but not enough to make up for the spiced soup we ate.
When we went to pay, the employees didn't show up for a few minutes and we practically could have walked away and not even be noticed, but I stayed regardless. The guy who came to collect our payment was shuffling around about 3 different takeout orders while handling our order. This was probably one of the people cooking too, his hands were clearly stained orange. Not sure if he washed his hands between handling money and cards and the till and then food, but I digress.
The worst part was about 20-30 minutes after we left. The both of us got the worst food poisoning imaginable on the way home. We're still suffering the aftermath of eating here, it definitely wasn't worth the $40 we spent considering we had to invest in some gravol and gatorade afterwards. I highly recommend not going here, I sure won't be going back.
