Stopping by The Bakehouse for a midday meal, I indulged in a Shrimp Melt on a vibrant curry baguette that left a memorable impression with its bold, aromatic bread. The Pumpkin Tarts and Pumpkin Cream Cheese Squares were decadently rich, making a strong case for pumpkin treats to be savored year-round rather than seasonally. Although the Dog's Breakfast Beef Orzo Soup was a bit underwhelming, the overall experience, from fresh, house-made breads to warm, welcoming service, felt like a comforting nod to home-cooked goodness.

Try this place out!!The baking is wonderful and the food is fantastic. Some times there is a wait for your food but it is worth it!! The quiche is the best I have ever had!! the pastry is light and lots of filling in the quiche!! It takes about 10 minutes to get because they heat it in the oven!! not the microwave like lots of places do!! I like that the kitchen in the Bakehouse is open. It give you something to watch as you wait for your food. They have a couple of bakers that really know what they are doing!! And they do not mind if you as them questions while they work!! there are not many places Like the Bakehouse!! Try it.... It is great for families too! RAINBOW BREAD!! you have to see it!
