Two weeks ago, I threw a surprise birthday bash for my husband at the Alamo with 16 friends, and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Irene and her team took impeccable care of us, while Ozzie whipped up margaritas that were nothing short of legendary, and the crispy tacos and chili rellenos kept everyone happily full. After decades of visits, I can confidently say the portions are generous, the prices barely budged despite inflation, and the warm, welcoming vibe on a chilly afternoon made it all the more memorable.
