The baker greeted me with a warm smile as I walked in and the aroma of freshly baked pastries filled the air. I couldn't resist trying the old-fashioned buttermilk and apple fritter, and they were simply divine - not greasy like some other places I've been to. The small family-owned shop had a cozy atmosphere, and I found myself savoring every bite of my pastries while chatting with the friendly lady behind the counter.
