12/19/2010 - Jason Johns
This is the most upscale, Clean, and friendly Denny's I have ever been too. I am sure that I will never find another that can top this one.
06/03/2009 - Jeffrey Haines
I've always loved Denny's, worked for them twice in the past. I was a Denny's All-Star (an award I won for extremely hard work). But now I see that the only good thing about those two stores were the managers, who were conscientious, positive team players. The corporation, however, is evil.
I now work in the Newbury Park store, owned by a couple of Indian guys who cut every corner, ignore health and labor laws, don't train their employees, don't care about anything but polishing their pennies.
I've done everything I can think of to fix the store. I've even asked the help of Denny's Corp. but they have ignored my requests. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get the Health Department aware of the problem. But I've been thwarted at every turn in my attempt to do the right thing, to keep our customers safe. . .and the employees as well. I'm afraid I will fail.
But you, the reader, now know not to eat here.
Don't eat at Denny's. The franchise stores are evil, and the corporation as a whole doesn't care about you or your health.
