Shirley Delicious is our favourite restaurant just outside Sooke (a half hour west). One of its offerings - the incredibly delicious "Conversano" Sandwich, is filled with roasted leeks, eggplant, bell peppers and zucchini ... along with avocado and Brie! SO delicious! Their soups are all homemade and delicious ... their coffee and tea menu is amazing ... and their sweet treats are numerous and irresistible! As for the setting - outside on the patio during COVID - it is both cozy and friendly and is surrounded by a beautiful naturalized garden. This little gem finds itself right on the edge of one of the most beautiful, natural settings in the world - the magnificent West Coast Rainforest! So-o-o ... Bon appétit! Enjoy!!! PS: After our meal, we often take a walk down to one of the many nearby beaches along that coast (Our favourites are Sandcut, French Beach & China Beach).. or visit nearby Sheringham Point Lighthouse.

My daughter was so excited to take me to Shirley delicious on our way past to one of the beaches… And they didn’t disappoint. Quaint little place with the freshest of ingredients! Awesome friendly staff!
