Went for breakfast today. It was a perfect fall morning to be out and about so the cafe was busy. When we arrived we found a table outside and were able to order our drinks immediately.
Our server asked for our patience and said they were busier even than normal and a server had called out sick. We did our best to know what we wanted and needed to minimize the extra trips she had to make.
Jim had breakfast for lunch and had zero complaints (that doesn't always happen for him). I had the Mexicana Burger and LOVED it. I do not know where they buy their beef from but I am going to find out. I thought I missed the pink slime in hamburger. Turns out I just haven't had good hamburger in awhile. ANNNND the cheese was melted, and the skinny fries were crispy on the outside without being overcooked!
The staff may have been a little stressed but they nailed it for us. We will be back soon.

Great little "old fashioned" grill in the heart of downtown Warrenton. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere, home-cooking, service with a smile.
