So, the store on 3/17/23 has been closed for quite a while - longer than a month, I reckon. But last week, I noticed some activity happening there. It seems like new folks might be taking charge, though I doubt it's gonna remain a barbecue joint. The location is prime, so fingers crossed the new owners make good use of it, especially if it's gonna be a food and drink spot. As of now, District BBQ is still shuttered with a notice on the door hinting at its closure. Take a peek at the sign and form your own thoughts.
