I've been there twice this month, and it's quickly become my favorite BBQ spot in Virginia. The pulled pork and all the sides, especially the mac and cheese and fried pickles, were fantastic, plus the atmosphere is great for a relaxed meal outdoors!

I think people should read reviews about this place other than on trip advisor.
Clearly most of the reviews on trip advisor name the owner like they know him personally. I went to the BBQ exchange because of the reviews on trip advisor, the food here is not good, the sides are awful, the Mac and cheese is runny, and the BBQ has no flavor at all, and the sauces that you use to mix in the BBQ are awful! Very sour sauces. Do not believe all the hype this restaurant gets!
