The portions at Ray's are massive and the menu is packed with tempting options that keep everyone happy, especially those sweet, perfectly cooked scallops that my boyfriend swears are the best he's ever had. The festive, nautical vibe inside pairs perfectly with the fresh seafood, fast service, and those ridiculously tasty hush puppies that have me already planning my next visit-just be ready for a wait because it's always buzzing for good reason!

Rays has a wide selection of generous portions and the wait time just shows how popular it is. Their crab cakes are packed with flavor and the atmosphere inside is perfect for a beach vibe. The scallops were a hit with my boyfriend and the broiled shrimp were a tasty choice.

Awesome food

My first time at Ray's Shanty and we ordered the drum fish special on May 2nd. I've never had this type of fish before and it was awesome! Their sweet tea was perfect as was the coleslaw and baked potato. Good hushpuppies as well. It was my first time there and will not be my last! Food: I am rating this 5 stars for food quality alone

We went to Ray's on Good Friday 4/18/14. We ordered the fresh Drum Fish, it was delicious, the baked potato was actually done, usually it's still hard inside at most restaurants, my hubby got the fresh cut French fries and the cole slaw was very good also. We were very pleased. We will return.
